The track was great......the weather a bit chilly, but clear and crisp. Amanda went out for her first session on Friday, reeling in times as fast as the car had ever produced at Dijon before. Qualifying went well, putting Amanda just behind the Corvettes, GT Cup Cars, and more modern sports cars. “The little gave everything it had! She’s no Corvette, but she can get around the track with the best!” Amanda said after the session. “I was really pleased with the handling of the car. It’s just so easy to move around the track.”

The race lead to disappointment, as a mechanical failure would take the car out for the rest of the weekend. “The only disappointing thing was that the car couldn’t finish the race. It was going so well! Looks like I have another reason to return.....to fix an Alpine!” Amanda laughed as she went to go suit up for her second ride of the weekend. “What an amazing little car! I cant wait to race it again. Thanks to Robert, Chris, and the rest of the team for making the weekend so memorable. Thanks again to the Swiss Championship directors for letting me race with them. I look forward to returning.”
